The Story
After spending countless hours searching for the perfect Chanuka sweater, nothing online seemed to hit the mark. From slogans like "let's get lit" or "I love you a latke", although cute, there seemed to be a lacking in designs that were historically and authentically accurate in representing the holiday.
So, we decided it was time to make our own. The artwork on this sweater was meticulously designed to represent ancient Jerusalem where the story of Chanuka takes place. Represented in this art is the actual design of the menorah from the temple with 7 branches, on which the 8 day miracle lasted on. (note: the menorah in the temple had 7 branches where as a chanukiah which we light chanuka candles on has 9).
That's what makes this sweater stand out from the rest. It's a snapshot from history, representing our Jewish resistance and will to survive.
Also, it's super cute, festive, and incredibly cozy.

Sizes
This sweater runs true to size. For a roomier fit size up, for a snugger fit size down. Please refer to the sizing chart in the images because returns are not available. Israeli customers should place their orders by Friday, October 29th to allow enough time for shipping and handling times. Because of the COVID-19 delays we can't gaurantee delivery timeframes but we do promise that you'll be wearing the sweater all winter long.

The fit of this sweater is unisex. Size up or down if you want a looser or snugger fit.
The Details
- 50% pre-shrunk cotton, 50% polyester
- Fabric weight: 8.0 oz/yd² (271.25 g/m²)
- Double-lined hood with matching drawcord
- Quarter-turned to avoid crease down the middle
- Air-jet spun yarn with a soft feel and reduced pilling
- 1x1 athletic rib-knit cuffs and waistband with spandex
- Double-needle stitched collar, shoulders, armholes, cuffs, and hem
- Front pouch pocket
Care
Machine wash cold, inside-out, gentle cycle with mild detergent and similar colors.
Use non-chlorine bleach, only when necessary. No fabric softeners.
Tumble dry low or hang-dry for longest life.
Cool iron inside-out if necessary. Do not iron decoration.
Do not dry clean.
How it's made
This sweater is made to order using a direct to garment (aka DTG) printing method. All inks used are water-based and eco-friendly. A special solution is used in the printing process, so don't worry if you notice a slight new shirt scent. It will disappear after the first wash.
